The purpose of Audit Log is providing admins with transparency regarding various data-related changes within the organization. Use it to determine when a particular piece of data changed, which team member did the modification and check what the exact changes were. Audit Log is available exclusively on Premium and Enterprise plans.

ℹ️ Note: Data collection for the purposes of Audit Log began in September 2024.

Locating the Audit Log

You can find the Audit Log in the following locations:

  • For organizations with a single workspace: Go to Settings > Audit Log. The page is accessible to Workspace and Organization Admins.

  • For organizations with multiple workspaces: Navigate to Organization > Audit Log to view logs across all workspaces within the organization. The page is accessible only to Organization Admins.

Data included in the Audit Log

Audit Log data is stored for 1 year and is divided into two sections: Workspace Log and Time Entries Log. You can switch between these sections from the top-right corner of the Audit Log page.

Workspace Log

The Workspace Log tracks events related to projects. For example, it records when a project is created, renamed, archived, or deleted. Specific changes to a project, such as name updates, are also logged (both the old and new values will be displayed).
