Basic information on Toggl Track pricing

Most online companies have a payment system configured to best complement the tool or service they provide. Ours is no different.

The two most important concepts of Toggl Track pricing:

• Subscriptions are tied to the organization, not the user who started them. In other words, they are organization-specific and not user-specific. This allows a single person (e.g., a business owner) to pay for everyone on their team.
• You are charged for every user of the organization, regardless of their privileges within the organization.

Knowing how much you need to pay for Toggl Track

Calculating the monthly or yearly Toggl Track fee is straightforward: multiply the base per license/month price by the number of licenses in your organization — not by the number of active users. A license is a paid seat in your organization; every member occupies one, but you can also hold unassigned, vacant licenses that are still billed. To see your license count, open the Subscription page and check the Licenses section under Overview.
Adding a member to your organization automatically assigns them a license. Removing a member (deactivating or deleting them) frees them from that license, but the license itself stays on your subscription — and stays billed — as a vacant license until an admin manually removes it.

Please note that there are no free licenses on paid plans; every license, assigned or vacant, is paid for.

On the Subscription page, you'll see your license count. On your renewal date, you're charged based on that license count — not your active user count — unless vacant licenses were removed beforehand.

On the Subscription page, you see your "seat count" which is the number of seats you paid for at your last renewal. On the date of your renewal, we check your "active" users and charge you based on that number.

The base per user/month price is fixed and only changes if your organization has a discount.

We only allow payments in EUR and USD. European customers can pay in EUR, whereas customers from elsewhere are billed in USD.

• Starter Monthly: Starts at 10 USD/EUR
• Starter Annual: 9 USD/EUR
• Premium Monthly: 20 USD/EUR
• Premium Annual: 18 USD/EUR

To calculate the annual fee, multiply the usual monthly cost by 12.
