Your Toggl Account Settings

Learn how to manage the account settings shared across Toggl apps. 

 

Personal settings like your name, email address, password, timezone and alternate login options are managed at the Toggl account level.

You can reach the Toggl Account Settings page from the Profile pages of each product (Toggl Track, Toggl Plan, Toggl Hire), as well as the Settings screens of our mobile and desktop applications.


On this page you can update your:

  • Full Name

  • Email Address: You cannot update to an email address that is already in use across our Toggl apps. If you have an account already but forgot your password, you can reset your password here.
  • Timezone
  • Appearance: Specify if you want the apps to appear in Light/Dark mode or use your system settings. 
  • Enable passkey login
  • Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Learn more about how to set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) here.
  • Change your current password: Click Change Password, then enter your current password and new password and click Save New Password.
  • Close your account: Learn more about how to close your account here.
