Selecting a Date Range
Your guide to the date range selector. Learn to choose from presets or set a custom date range to easily filter your report data.
The "Date Picker" allows you to define the time period shown in Reports
By default, all reports in Toggl Track will display data from This Week, but this default can be changed in the Date Picker.
Using Dynamic Dates
Dynamic dates are preset options that you can quickly chose to run a report. They are called dynamic because they always update to show the current period. They include:
-
Today
-
Yesterday
-
This week, month, quarter, semester or year
-
Last week, 2 weeks, month, 30 days, 90 days, quarter, semester, 12 months and year
-
Week, month, or year to today
-
All time
You can also change the default date range used by clicking on the Default option that shows next to each one as you hover over them.
First Day of the Week setting determines the first day you are shown when you use presets like This Week/Last week.
The “All Time” preset is a Premium Only feature that automatically selects the period from the first to the last time entry created within the selected report filters. If no filters are applied, the Report will display all time entries from the workspace
Using Custom/Static Date Range
Custom or Static Dates allow you to pick specific date period that always stay the same regardless of when you’re viewing the report.
Select a custom date by clicking custom date, then on your desired start date and end date, then click elsewhere on the screen to finalize your selection.
Selecting date ranges longer than 1 year is a Starter Feature.
Navigating between Dates
Use the left/right arrow keys to move back or forward in your date picker while maintaining your filters.
If you selected a dynamic date such as “This Week”, navigating to a past or future date will turn the dynamic date into a static date
