Rounding

Find out how you can turn on rounding of your time entries to the nearest chosen time increment

Time entries can be rounded up or down based on your chosen settings. You can enable Rounding on all our reports by clicking on the Rounding button next to the export button in the top right corner.

Applying Rounding

Rounding can be applied to Individual time entries, or to grouped entries.

When applied to Individual entries, each time entry has the rounding setting applied to it separately.

When applied to Grouped entries, we total the individual entries in a group or sub-group as is, then apply the rounding setting to that sub-total.

Rule

There are three rules you can use when applying rounding:

  • Round Up To

  • Round to Nearest

  • Round Down To

Interval

You can choose which interval you want to round to. The available intervals are: 1 minute, 5 minutes, 6 minutes, 10 minutes, 12 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour and 4 hours.
