Resetting or changing your Toggl password

What to do if you've forgotten your password, been locked out of your account, or want to update your credentials.

Whether you can't remember your password or simply want to change it, the steps below have you covered. This guide also helps if you originally signed up via Google or Apple and need to set a Toggl password for the first time.

Forgot your password? How to reset it

  1. Go to: https://accounts.toggl.com/reset-password/
  2. Type in the email address linked to your Toggl account.
  3. Click Submit.
  4. Check your inbox for an email from Toggl and click the reset link inside.
  5. Enter your new password twice, then click Submit to confirm.

Signed up with Google or Apple? The same reset flow works for you too. Following these steps will let you create a standalone Toggl Track password, giving you an additional way to sign in going forward.

Changing your password while logged in

If you already know your current password and just want to update it:

  1. Click Settings in the sidebar
  2. Scroll to Password Actions
  3. Click Change Password.
  4. Enter your current password, then your new one.
