Projects: Editing
To edit a project, go to the project listing in Settings - Projects and click on the project that you wish to work on.
General
These are the first things you see when you open up a project to be edited:

Now for more detail:
Project name can be edited by simply typing in the changes.
Choose a different Client by opening the drop-down.
Project billable rate is optional and can be for a fixed sum or per hour.
You can set a fixed or a tasks-based time estimate and the display changes accordingly:

Archive
This setting allows you to 'hide away' projects that you are not working on any more, making your project lists more user-friendly. If a project is archived, it means:
-
You can't track any more time to it;
-
It does not, by default, show up in your project list, but you can choose to Show 'All' or 'Archived' on your project listing page to bring them up. Archived projects are displayed in gray:

- Time entries of archived projects will appear in reports when you 'Filter by' (all projects); make sure you click 'Show' after changing the filters for the change to go into effect

- Projects can also be opened again after archiving by going to Settings -> Projects, ticking the project you wish to edit and choosing 'Re-open' under 'Actions'

or by going into the into the project and clicking 'Unarchive'.
Templates
-
When a template is set, all new projects will be created with the settings in the template - that includes billable rates, team, tasks, etc. Find more details here

Team
- When you choose to 'share with whole team', your project is available to everyone and you can't edit individual user settings. This will be indicated under the Team tab:

- If your project is private, you can edit different things about your team:

-
Each team member can have their personal billable rate for that project. The red circles on the image indicate how to set that.
-
To change your team member's access rights within the project, click on the icon in the 'Role' column.
-
To remove a project member, either tick their user and 'Remove' or hover over the user line and 'Remove' from there.
-
You can always add new members or share the project with the whole team.
Tasks
-
Allow you to categorize a project's time entries and review the progress of each category. This section is explained in detail here.

Notes
- If you have additional information you wish to share with your team about the particular project, this section is perfect:

-
When you add a note, you can choose to notify team members by email, by default this does not happen.
-
To delete one or many notes, ticking the box and clicking Delete is sufficient. Hovering over the note and clicking on the rubbish bin icon does the same thing.
-
You can also update past notes when you hover over the note and click the 'edit' button that appears:

Additional comments
-
For the changes to take effect, you need to click 'Save'.
-
If you decide that you didn't want to change anything after all, 'Discard' will take you back to what it was to start with.
-
After Saving, it is easy to go back to project list via the direct link.
-
When you're in the editing view, but not actually typing anything in the fields, you can use keyboard shortcuts to start or stop your time tracking and go back to the Home page quickly.
