Tags

A tag is meant to add additional information to a time entry.

Some examples of usage:

  • if you have billed your client, you can mark those time entries with a tag "billed" (or "invoiced")

  • if you have a time entry that has a non-standard billing rate, mark it with a tag, so you'll know that when it's time to bill

  • if all the work you do for different clients and projects falls under, say 4 different categories that you'd like to have an overview of later, you can tag each time entry, say with "consulting", "feedback", "out-doors", "B2B"

Tags are not mandatory to use, but if you need to mark certain time entries with some information, you can use tags for that.

You can also pull reports based on tags using the option to filter your time entries by Tags on the Reports page.

Tags can be modified and deleted on the "Settings" -> "Workspace" page. Only a workspace administrator can delete tags.
