change task linked to another user's time entry

As a 'manager', I'd like to be able to reassign other user's time entries to a task other than the one they have chosen.

Noticed it is ONLY possible to reassign a user's time entry to a Project. When attempting to assign the time entry to a specific task, I see the 'Can't assign task to user'. So, I backtracked to ensure that user was assigned to the task - and that person specifically was.

So, then I changed the task to be (any user). Went back to reports and tried to reassign the time entry to a task again - this worked.

If I've missed something, please inform. Otherwise, I would like to see the ability to change the task assigned to a user's time entry - specifically to a task only that person is assigned.

   Hi Russell,

   Sorry that it's taken me some time to get back to you on this!

   You should actually be able to change tasks for users also, so I believe this is a bug. I have notified our developers and they'll be fixing this. We'll keep you updated on the fix.
